The Community Green Energy Advisory Group are delighted to announce the successful groups / projects from the 2023 Community Benefit Fund. This round of grants is funded by Community Green Energy Monmouthshire CIC and / or Community Green Energy England & Wales CIC.

Bettws Newydd Village Hall

£9,000 Decorate outside of hall and new stage curtains

Clytha Group Riding for the Disabled

£8,700 Adapt original hut into sheltered classroom

Cross Ash Primary School

£4,000 Cookery/gardening equipment and bike racks

Cross Ash Village Hall

£15,000 Insulate the hall and improve its' energy efficiency

Llanarth Village Hall

£5,500 Update the flooring in the hall

Llanvapley Congregational Church Graveyard

£6,000 to be added to 2022 grant, to repair roadside boundary railings

Llanvihangel Ystern-Llewern Church

£15,000 Make safe the path from the road to the church

Llanvetherine Church

£3,935 Public address system and toilet

Penrhos Church

£15,000 New kitchen and toilet

Selby Sound Hand Bell Ringers

£2,100 Help with winter hire costs of Llanvapley pavilion

Skenfrith Church Hall

£1,950 Develop the village hall courtyard
