GRANT APPLICATIONS FROM THE 2018 COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND
The Community Green Energy Advisory Group are delighted to announce the successful groups / projects from the 2018 Community Benefit Fund. This round of grants is funded by Community Green Energy Monmouthshire CIC and / or Community Green Energy England & Wales CIC;
The Community Green Energy Advisory Group yet again had to make some very difficult decisions as applications received amounted to almost twice the monies available. All applicants have now been informed of the decisions of the group.
The next round of grants will be approx. May / June 2019.
2018 Grants awarded to the following Projects: -
Bettws Newydd Village Hall - photovoltaic panels - £11,040.00
Bridges Centre - Befriending Project - £15,000.00
Grosmont Fawr Community Council - improvement of the toilet facilities at Grosmont Town Hall - £15,000.00
Llanarth Cricket Club - replacement of practice facilities - £10,000.00
Llanvapley Congregational Church - upkeep of the churchyard - £450.00
Llanvetherine Parochial Church Council - creation of a public village meeting place for Llanvetherine - £14,002.00
St Mabli's Church Parochial Church Council - replacement of sandstone coping blocks - £3,500.00
The Village Alive Trust - for saving Bradney's Horse Trough - £1,500.00
